Stand Alone Tournaments

Another way to the grand final

The winners from each regional final qualify for our expenses-paid overseas grand final. They are also joined by the winners from our two stand alone tournaments.

Both events give entrants a 'one-off' shot of making the grand final at Arcos Gardens Golf & Country Club over the 14th to 18th October 2012.

There is an Individual Strokeplay competition and a Betterball Stableford event - the winners at each are on the plane to Spain!

The Fixby Challenge @ Huddersfield Golf Club

This Individual Strokeplay competition will take place at Huddersfield Golf Club on Friday 27th July 2012.

The player returning the lowest nett score will qualify for our overseas grand final.

Huddersfield Golf Club is a true championship golf course in West Yorkshire.

Fixby, as it is often referred to, is a regular venue for the Yorkshire County Championship and was a Brabazon Trophy qualifying venue in 2009.

It has held numerous European Tour Seniors events and is located just one mile from junction 24 of the M62 making it within easy reach for golfers in Yorkshire and the North West.

The Cleveland Classic @ Cleveland Golf Club

This Betterball Stableford competition will take place at Cleveland Golf Club on Thursday 16th August 2012.

The pair returning the highest points score will qualify for our overseas grand final.

Cleveland Golf Club was established in 1887 and is a true championship links course.

The club have hosted many County and Professional events and is home to the Amateur scratch competitions; the Cleveland Salver and the Mid Amateur International.

It also hosted the Yorkshire County Team Championships 2011 and is very accessible for golfers in the North East.
