2012 Fixby Challenge

A one-off chance to reach the grand final.

On Friday 27th July 2012 we will be holding an 18 hole Individual Strokeplay competition at Huddersfield Golf Club.

The player returning the lowest nett score will qualify for our overseas grand final.

Summary:

• Date: Friday 27th July 2012

• Entry-fee: £30 per person

• Format: 18 Hole Men's Individual Strokeplay

• Tees: White (Medal)

• Includes: Soup & sandwiches

• Handicap: Full allowance (max 18 strokes)

• Eligibility: To enter you must be aged 16+ on 2nd April 2012 & be a member of a golf club affiliated to the Cheshire, Cumbria, Durham, Lancashire, Northumberland or Yorkshire Union of Golf Clubs

The course...

Huddersfield Golf Club is a true championship golf course in West Yorkshire.

Fixby, as it is often referred to, is a regular venue for the Yorkshire County Championship and was a Brabazon Trophy qualifying venue in 2009.

It has held numerous European Tour Seniors events and is located just one mile from junction 24 of the M62 making it within easy reach for golfers in Yorkshire and the North West.

Notes...

1. Golfers do not need to have entered the main Golfdelaluz.com Northern Matchplay Golf Championship to compete in the Fixby Challenge.

2. Full handicap allowance will apply up to a maximum of 18 strokes, however, higher handicaps (19-28) may enter but must play off 18.

3. Tied scores will be determined by countback.

4. If oversubscribed players who have entered the main matchplay event will have priority.
