Prizes

There is a total prize fund of over £2,500 for the championship.

Anybody who makes it to their regional final obviously gets to enjoy 36 holes at one of the top golf courses in the country and play for the chance to qualify for our expenses-paid overseas grand final.

Vouchers are also awarded at regional finals and the grand final with a top prize of £250 per person or £500 per pair.

At the grand final itself flights, accommodation and golf are all included, as is breakfast & dinner.

Regional finals...

At each regional final we will award vouchers to the runners-up and 3rd place play-off winners. 

The winner qualifies for our grand final where further vouchers are up for grabs as well as the Swatkins Silver Northern Matchplay trophies.

Vouchers are awarded as follows:

• Winner: Qualifies for the grand final

• Runners-up: £100 per person / £200 per pair

• 3rd place: £50 per person / £100 per pair
  

Grand final...

At the grand final we will award vouchers to the overall champions, the runners-up and 3rd place play-off winners.

The winners also receive a memento to keep and the respective Northern Matchplay trophy to retain for a year.

Vouchers are awarded as follows:

• Winners: £250 per person / £500 per pair

• Runners-up: £150 per person / £300 per pair

• 3rd place: £100 per person / £200 per pair
