Welcome to the Golfdelaluz.com Northern Matchplay Golf Championship

Our season-long knockout competition is open to male golfers in Cheshire, Cumbria, Durham, Lancashire, Northumberland & Yorkshire.

We run Individual & Betterball competitions where entrants must win a maximum of six matches against local opponents to reach a 36 hole regional final at either Formby, Alwoodley or Silloth on Solway. Win two more games there and you progress to our 4-night, expenses paid, overseas grand final at the truly stunning Arcos Gardens Golf & Country Club in Cadiz, Spain during October.

Qualifying rounds are played between April & September including a 'home & away' opening round, which guarantees everybody at least one game away from their home course. 

Entry is just £15 for the Individual event and £25 per pair for the Betterball competition.

Entries have now closed for the 2012 championship but you can register your details to the right and we will let you know when we open the 2013 competition for applications.

You can still claim a place in this years grand final by winning The Fixby Challenge or The Cleveland Classic. You don't need to have entered the main matchplay event to play in either of these.
